PELATIHAN NAIK TURUN TANGGA TERHADAP DAYA LEDAK OTOT TUNGKAI

Daya ledak otot tungkai merupakan salah satu komponen kondisi fisik yang berperan penting dalam mendukung performa olahraga, khususnya pada aktivitas yang membutuhkan kemampuan menghasilkan gaya secara cepat seperti lompatan, smash, dan blocking. Salah satu metode latihan yang berpotensi meningkatkan daya ledak otot tungkai adalah latihan naik turun tangga karena mampu memberikan rangsangan terhadap adaptasi neuromuskular, kekuatan otot, dan kemampuan eksplosif. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh latihan naik turun tangga terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai siswa putra SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Badung Tahun 2018. Penelitian ini menggunakan rancangan Experimental Randomized Pre-Test and Post-Test Group Design. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 34 siswa putra yang dibagi menjadi kelompok kontrol dan kelompok perlakuan, masing-masing 17 orang. Kelompok perlakuan diberikan latihan naik turun tangga selama 6 minggu dengan frekuensi 4 kali per minggu. Pengukuran daya ledak otot tungkai dilakukan sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan. Analisis data menggunakan uji paired t-test dan independent t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kelompok perlakuan mengalami peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai sebesar 6,35 cm (14,93%), sedangkan kelompok kontrol meningkat sebesar 1,94 cm (5,45%). Hasil uji independent t-test menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara kelompok perlakuan dan kontrol (p = 0,000). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa latihan naik turun tangga berpengaruh signifikan terhadap peningkatan daya ledak otot tungkai siswa putra SMK Pariwisata Triatma Jaya Badung Tahun 2018.
